2024 Cheer Season

Cheer Teams:
Minis - 1st and 2nd graders (15 max)
Freshman - 3rd, 4th & 5th graders (25 max)
JV - 5th, 6th grades (25 max)
Varsity - 7th, 8th & 9th graders (25 max)

*Ages and grades may be split to accommodate enrollment numbers, year to year.

Games:
NTAA cheerleaders at every game (rain or shine), cheering on our football players. Games are on Saturdays and Sundays. Days to report for games will be determined once the game schedule is released.

Competitions:
All teams will participate in competitions. Competitions run until mid November. 
Our main competition that we attend is Fall Fest, run by Niagara Cheer Productions, usually held in October.
This year NTAA will be traveling for one competition, location TBD.
All other competitions TBD.

Attendance:
Attendance is VERY important when it comes to cheerleading. Every cheerleader is used when creating a routine, there are no back up players. Absences affect everyone on the team, not just the absent cheerleader. Missing practice means stunts can't go up, and routines can’t be finished. Although we understand that illnesses and emergencies come up, please keep the importance of attendance in mind when registering. 

Registration:
Cheer Registration runs from January 15th and will close once teams are filled or May 1st.
We strongly encourage early registration as each team is limited to a number of cheerleaders allowed. Team placement is determined by grade/age by the coordinators. Due to the time that will be needed to order uniforms no exceptions will be made to our registration process.

Cheer Registration fee will cover: Competition music and fees, cheer shoes, bow and 1 banquet ticket. Uniforms are an additional $180. Payment Plans are available, a  $100 deposit is required at registration to obtain a spot on the roster. Full payment must be made before June 1st to participate. 

Uniforms:
This year we will have new uniforms! Parents will purchase the uniform for $180 and the uniforms will be in a three year rotation. Girls will be scheduled for sizing each month until the close of registration.  All Cheerleaders will be required to purchase the uniform, practice T-Shirt, a warm up and raincoat. To help offset costs NTAA will be offering various fundraising opportunities.

Fundraiser/Sponsorship:
Here at NTAA we believe in offering affordable sports, and creating a fun, safe environment for the kids, to make that happen we need funding. NTAA will hold numerous fundraisers throughout the year/season to not only assist with uniform and registration costs that will be credited directly to your cheerleaders account but to help with the purchase of new cheer safety equipment. 

Sponsorship signage around the field helps to defer the costs of operations, events and capital improvements.  Families can receive a discount of $50 off their registration for acquiring a new Bronze level sponsorship. Bring in a new Silver Level sponsorship get $100 off, or a new Gold Level sponsorship get $200 off registration.
